Our team is comprised of Board Certified Sports Dietitians (CSSD). This is a great chance to see if our energy matches your vibe! This is a laid back 15 min call to ask your questions before diving in. We'll also walk you thru our different support options, from 1:1 support to group to online, and help you determine a good path. 

02. book your initial appointment

Once our calendars match up, you'll be all set. You'll receive online paperwork along with an invite to join our client portal.  Paperwork can be submitted right thru the portal before your initial appointment

03. setup follow-up sessions

We typically start clients on a weekly basis, then drop down to every other week and then monthly. Our goal is to provide you with all the support you need to feel successful.

Your plan is individualized for your goals and is comprehensive - AND, the priority is always to have a well fed body so you can move forward in health and good vibes. Throughout, we challenge disordered or misguided diet thoughts as you fine-tune your self care.  

We work closely with you or your child's medical team - this could be working in tangent with a therapist, sharing updates with your doctor and reviewing lab results, 

What approach do you take in nutrition?

Fed & Flourish is in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and United Health Care. 

Prior to your visit, please call your insurance company to check your benefits. When calling the (800) number on the back of your insurance card, have these questions handy to ask: 
Do I have nutritional counseling coverage on my insurance plan? 
  • If the insurance company asks for a CPT code, please provide them with the following codes: 97802 & 97803.
Will my diagnosis be covered? 
  • If the representative asks for a diagnosis code - please share the ICD 10 code: z71.3

For other insurance companies, we are out-of-network providers which means we can provide a superbill for possible reimbursement. Payment is due at time of service for folks using out-of-network services.

Intuitive Eating is a self-care eating framework that integrates instinct, emotion, and rational thought. Intuitive Eating allows for self compassion, curiosity and a gentle approach to food.

Intuitive eating might look, feel, and work differently for different folks; this means that the process of getting there will likely look different too. 

If you've struggled with disordered eating, hating your body, or been on some sort of diet for as long as you can remember, intuitive eating can enhance your well being and help you find please with food.

The only necessity for the first appointment is to have your paperwork completed. After that, you simply need to show up. You might feel comfortable sharing all of your story and you might feel comfortable sharing only a small piece of your story. However you show up is just right. Your dietitian will guide you thru the rest.
